Integrity Trade Services is hiring an Electrical Controls Engineer for our manufacturing client to start immediately at $90k-$120k/annually DOE! Receive comprehensive benefits through our client upon hire!

Responsibilities:

This role is responsible for the design and documentation of projects and products. Each design must be developed and managed to maintain an effective balance of the following three factors:

  1. Performance - Ensure all technical, quality, and regulatory standards are met.

  2. Schedule - Complete work within established timelines.

  3. Cost - Adhere to defined budget requirements.
  • Review and interpret project and product design requirements provided by Project Engineering.
  • Develop initial concept designs and submit them to Project Engineering for approval (Initial Design Review).
  • Complete detailed designs and submit for approval and release (Final Design Review), including Bills of Materials, layouts, schematic drawings, software design/testing, and design calculations.
  • Prepare and submit all required project and product documentation for approval (Documentation Review).
  • Maintain integrity and professionalism in all working relationships.
  • Collaborate and communicate effectively with all departments across the organization.
  • Continuously enhance individual skills through training and development opportunities.
  • Contribute to organizational improvement by proposing and implementing innovative ideas.
  • Perform additional job-related duties as assigned.
Location: Grand Rapids, MI

Schedule/Shift Details: First Shift 8AM-5PM, Monday-Friday
  • Overtime as needed.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from an accredited four-year institution, or equivalent experience.
  • Strong electrical aptitude, including knowledge of machine controls and wiring practices.
  • Demonstrated creativity and problem-solving ability.
  • Proficiency in applying electrical engineering principles, standards, and methodologies.
  • Ability to create and interpret electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic schematics.
  • Computer proficiency, including experience with CAD, word processing, and spreadsheet applications.
  • Experience programming PLCs, HMIs, CNC systems, and related equipment.
  • Strong troubleshooting capabilities.
  • Willingness to travel occasionally as needed.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
