Location Coshocton OHCleveland-Cliffs Coshocton Works located in East Central Ohio a stainless steel finishing operation and one of the nations leading producers of flat rolled stainless steel has an immediate opening for an Electrical Controls Specialist. The Electrical Controls Specialist will be responsible for managing and overseeing the current electrical systems in place as well as updating and upgrading systems in a 24 hour operation.Ideal for early-career professionals and experienced candidates alike this role offers hands-on training and ongoing development opportunities. Summary of ResponsibilitiesAssist with programming enhancements on the plants electrical systems in a safe and efficient mannerAssist in debugging the plants electrical systems. Work to determine the root cause of electrical failures and developimplement solutions to stop the recurrencePlan electrical equipment outages and upgrades. Assist maintenance service providers and contractors during these plansConduct training for technicians on current and future electrical systems installed at the plant Other duties as assignedMinimum QualificationsExperience withtroubleshooting electrical control systemsWilling to work for a 247 operationAssociates degree in Electrical Technology Mechatronics Computer Science or a related technicalengineering field-or equivalent military training or hands-on experience working with electrical or electronic systems in lieu of a formal degree.Preferred QualificationsBachelors degree in Electrical Engineering Electrical Engineering Technology Mechatronics Computer Science or a related engineering field3 yearsof control systems and PLCs experiencePLC troubleshooting experience especially with Siemens S7-1500 IBA Data Collection Rockwell Contrologix and GE Control SystemsRelocationassistancemay be considered for highly qualified candidates from outside the local area.Cleveland-Cliffs Inc. is the largest flat-rolled steel company and the largest iron ore pellet producer in North America.
