Design electrical subsystems for new and existing products. Develop analog and digital circuit designs. Design and test PCBs. Create custom circuit designs to support product development initiatives. Build, test, and evaluate prototypes. Perform failure analysis and root cause investigations. Support thermal design considerations during product development. Conduct risk assessments and engineering evaluations. Generate and manage ECNs. Partner with production, purchasing, sales, and marketing teams to support product performance and customer requirements. Support projects throughout the full product lifecycle, from concept through production release.
A successful Electrical Design Engineer should have:
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering
5+ years of electrical engineering experience; 8+ years preferred
Experience with analog and digital circuit design
Strong PCB design and prototyping experience
Background in custom circuit design
Experience performing failure analysis and troubleshooting
Thermal design experience
Hands-on product development and manufacturing experience
Strong communication and collaboration skills
Detail-oriented with a problem-solving and root cause analysis mindset
Experience with three-phase power systems up to 400V is a plus
Experience with lamp ballasts, UV lamps, or Xenon arc lamp technology is a plus
