Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled Electrical Design Engineer to lead and execute electrical engineering projects from pre-sales through commissioning. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in power systems, control design, and electrical standards, along with the ability to collaborate across teams and deliver high-quality engineering solutions.
Responsibilities:
Lead electrical engineering projects from pre-sales to commissioning
Design UPS/DC power systems and switchgear configurations
Develop control schemes using PLCs/relays for automated operations
Prepare BOMs and modify designs as per project needs
Perform generator sizing and load analysis
Collaborate with contractors, vendors, and cross-functional teams
Ensure compliance with electrical codes and standards
Review electrical drawings, submittals, and specifications
Support installation, testing, commissioning, and site activities
Provide technical support and innovative solutions
Qualifications:
Bachelor's in Electrical Engineering (PE license optional)
4+ years of relevant electrical design experience
Strong knowledge of UPS, switchgear, and power systems
Familiar with NEC and electrical codes/standards
Experience with AutoCAD/Revit and MS Office
Ability to read electrical drawings and specifications
Knowledge of Modbus, TCP/IP, RS-485, Ethernet (preferred)
Good problem-solving, communication, and analytical skills
