Description:
RMF Engineering, Inc is currently seeking an Electrical Design Engineer in our South Carolina office.
Responsibilities:
Power distribution, including riser diagrams and panel schedules
Lighting design, including fixture selection and controls
Low-voltage systems including fire alarm, security and controls
Calculate loads, fault current, and voltage drop
Performing field surveys and construction phase support
Requirements
Required Qualifications:
0-5 Years design experience with electrical systems
BS in Electrical Engineering degree from an accredited college or university
Ability to travel domestically and internationally will be required
Professional registration or ability to obtain professional registration
Experience with power system modeling and analysis using SKM is a major plus
Ability to provide own local transportation to the office and local project sites
Ability to obtain necessary government security clearances may be required
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience in Revit and AutoCAD
PE registration
Higher Ed and Healthcare design experience
Experience in power distribution and low-voltage systems
Knowledge of National Electrical Code (NEC) and standard industry design practices
Strong teamwork, communications, and client relationship skills
Ability to work in a dynamic, team-oriented environment
