    • AC/DC and DC/DC power conversion
    • Solar charging systems
    • Battery management and storage
    • Shore power
    • PoE power distribution
  • Create electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, Bills of Materials (BOMs), and other engineering documentation.
  • Design rugged electrical systems capable of operating in demanding outdoor environments.
  • Support prototype builds, product testing, validation, and field troubleshooting.
  • Conduct root cause analysis and implement engineering changes to improve product reliability and performance.
  • Partner with Production to improve manufacturability, quality, assembly processes, and serviceability.
  • Work with Sourcing and suppliers to evaluate components, qualify vendors, identify alternatives, and reduce product costs.
  • Develop electrical engineering standards, testing procedures, and design documentation.
  • Provide technical leadership for new product development and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to translate product requirements into practical, reliable electrical designs.
What We're Looking For Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a closely related engineering discipline.
  • 5+ years of experience designing and developing electrical products or systems.
  • Strong foundation in electrical engineering theory, including circuit analysis, voltage/current relationships, power, AC/DC fundamentals, and electrical system behavior.
  • Demonstrated ability to apply electrical theory to practical product and system design challenges.
  • Hands-on experience with low-voltage DC power systems.
  • Experience with battery-powered and/or solar-powered applications.
  • Working knowledge of AC/DC and DC/DC power conversion.
