Electrical Designer / Drafterresponsible for preparing detailed electrical drawings, layouts, and technical documentation to support engineering projects. This role works closely with electrical engineers, project managers, and other disciplines to develop accurate design packages for construction, manufacturing, or installation.Key ResponsibilitiesIncludes but not limited to:Develop electrical drawings including:Power distribution one-linesWiring diagrams and schematicsControl system layoutsPrepare 2D and 3D models using CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD , Solid Edge , SolidWorks , or similar platforms).Create detailed 3D models and drawings for panel enclosures.Ensure drawings comply with company standards, electrical codes, and customer requirements.Coordinate with Product Engineers, Sales Engineers, and Mechanical Designers to resolve design conflicts.Review vendor drawings and incorporate approved equipment data into project documents.Revise drawings based on engineering markups and client feedback.Maintain drawing standards, document control, and revision logs.Assist in standardizing design templates, symbols, and drawing practices.Support continuous improvement of design processes and shop efficiency.Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and documentation practices.Excellent communication and collaboration skills.Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.QualificationsEducationAssociate or bachelor's degree in electrical engineering technology, Drafting Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience).Experience2–5+ years of electrical drafting/design experience (industrial or manufacturing preferred).Technical SkillsProficiency in CAD software (2D & 3D modeling).Knowledge of electrical symbols, schematics, and industry drafting standards.Understanding of power systems, motor controls, PLC layouts, and instrumentation.Ability to perform basic electrical calculations.Soft SkillsStrong attention to detail and accuracy.Good communication and teamwork skills.Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.#J-18808-Ljbffr
