Responsibilities Create one-line diagrams and panel schedules for commercial/industrial electrical enclosures Complete feeder calculations and prescribe wire size, electrical accessories, etc in order to manufacture the engineered solution Manage specific projects / designs to deliver commitments with a focus on 100% on-time delivery to pre-defined milestones and published schedules Participate, refine and complete designs after engineering and general design review meetings Ensure that customer approval drawings are complete, checked, and submitted to meet the required schedule Release drawings, BOM’s (Bills of Material) and required documents to process to meet schedule requirements Interact with purchasing and vendors concerning parts Perform liaison function between Engineering and all Manufacturing / Service for any design related issues, problems, or improvement  Integrate with NPD (New Product Development) to introduce superior technology coordinating with the mechanical requirements of the design Champion continuous improvement activities Some travel, domestic and international, required Perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications / Experience / Skills Working knowledge and proficient with electrical engineering design concepts Strong problem-solving and organizational skills, with the ability to plan, prioritize, and execute while meeting critical timelines. Effective verbal and written communication skills to support collaboration with internal customer and external customers Demonstrated commitment to quality and performing work right the first time Ability to manage time effectively and prioritize activities to support production requirements Intermediate computer proficiency, including data entry using Microsoft Office, and ERP systems Ability to work effectively in a team-based manufacturing environment; collaborating across operations, procurement, engineering, project management, and quality functions. Proficiency in project management software such as Microsoft Project, Procore, or equivalent. Proficiency in the use and application of AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or equivalent 3D solid modeling software; Reading blueprints and electrical schematics Education BSEE degree or equivalent experience 0-5 years’ experience as a Electrical Engineer or related experience Working Conditions Mandatory overtime may be required, including evenings or weekends, to meet production schedules. The working environment is fast paced. This position may require long periods of standing with frequent walking, bending, crouching, kneeling and reaching. In the manufacturing area, you may be exposed to vibration, loud noise levels, moving parts, artificial lighting, as well as manufacturing debris. While performing the duties of this job in the manufacturing area, you will be required to wear the appropriate PPE equipment: Safety Glasses and Steel Toed Shoes. Additional PPE equipment may be required for specific jobs. Compensation Starting at $70K / Year, may be adjusted based on experience.
