Description
Required Technical Skills
- Expert level experience with Auto-CAD including creating and modifying detailed electrical construction drawings and engineering packages.
- Experience developing:
- One-line diagrams
- Three-line diagrams
- Power distribution layouts
- Ability to create drawing sets from concept through Issued for Construction (IFC).
- Experience coordinating electrical drawings with mechanical, process, instrumentation, and automation disciplines.
- Familiarity with AutoCAD Electrical is highly preferred.
- Experience with Revit or BIM coordination is a plus.
Required Qualifications
- AA or BS in Electrical Engineering or similar education
- Active Professional Engineer (P.E.) license.
- Minimum 7+ years of industrial electrical design experience.
- Strong knowledge of NEC, NFPA, IEEE, and industrial electrical design standards.
- Excellent communication and client interaction skills.
