Job Summary

Our client is seeking an Electrical Designer to develop and support electrical design deliverables for petrochemical projects. The role involves designing and reviewing cable tray, area classification, one-line diagrams, MCCs, switchgear, grounding, lighting, power and control systems, schematics and wiring diagrams, electrical systems rated 15KV and below, and electrical heat tracing.

Job Description

• Support electrical design activities for petrochemical projects
• Develop electrical design deliverables based on project requirements
• Design and review cable tray systems
• Perform area classification design
• Develop and review one-line diagrams
• Support MCC and switchgear design
• Develop grounding and lighting designs
• Support power and control system design
• Develop and review schematics and wiring diagrams
• Support electrical systems rated 15KV and below
• Support electrical heat tracing design

Skills Required

• 10+ years of experience in electrical design
• Petrochemical industry experience required
• Cable Tray, Area Class, One-Lines, MCCs, SWGR, grounding, lighting, power & control, schematics/wiring diagrams, 15KV and below, electrical heat tracing
• Software Requirements: AutoCAD 2022+, CadWorx, 3D
• Ready to work with minimal training and supervision

• High School Degree or Higher
