Electrical Designer

1. Create accurate electrical layouts, schematics, and wiring diagrams for various systems.
2. Develop and maintain design documentation, including bills of materials (BOMs) and electrical specifications.
3. Participate in design reviews and ensure all designs comply with applicable codes, standards, and product requirements.
4. Support the manufacturing and installation process by providing technical guidance and resolving design-related issues.
5. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, production, and quality, to ensure seamless project execution.
6. Analyze existing designs for potential issues and propose effective solutions to optimize safety, performance, and manufacturability.

Required skills and qualifications
· Associate degree in Electrical Design/Drafting, Vocational or Equivalent experience. (Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering preferred)
· Minimum of 5 years of experience in electrical design and drafting, preferably related to HVAC or industrial products.
· Proficiency in CAD/Solidworks software for electrical design.
· Strong understanding of electrical codes and standards (e.g. NEC, IEC).
· Ability to perform electrical load calculation and component selection.
· Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
· High attention to detail with a methodical and precise approach to design and documentation.
