About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Electrical Drafter/Designer to support the design and development of
cutting-edge mobile power generation systems. This role involves producing detailed electrical drawings,
wiring diagrams, cable schedules, and panel layouts for advanced power conversion technologies. The
ideal candidate will thrive in a collaborative environment and have a strong understanding of industry
standards and best practices.
This role will contribute to innovative projects in the following areas:
Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS)
Hydrogen Fuel Cells
Natural Gas Engines
Electrification of Oil & Gas Service Units
Key Responsibilities
Create and revise detailed electrical drawings, wiring diagrams, cable schedules, and panel layouts
from engineering markups and design inputs.
Develop technical documentation, including single-line diagrams, control schematics, and
termination drawings for power generation and conversion systems.
Ensure drawing accuracy through multiple design revisions and project lifecycle phases.
Apply and interpret relevant industry standards (NEC, IEC, IEEE) to ensure safety and code
compliance.
Work closely with electrical engineers, mechanical designers, and project managers to deliver
complete and coordinated designs.
Manage and maintain drawing libraries, 3D model files, and revision control in line with company
protocols.
Provide support to field teams, including installation drawings and responding to drawing-related
inquiries
Qualification / Skills
Associate degree, technical diploma, or equivalent experience in Electrical Drafting, Design, or a
related field.
Minimum of 2 years' experience in electrical drafting, ideally within power generation, power
conversion, or industrial systems.
Proficiency in AutoCAD Electrical and/or other relevant CAD tools (e.g., SolidWorks Electrical,
Inventor).
Familiarity with NEC, IEC, and IEEE standards and electrical drafting conventions.
Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, panel layouts, and P&IDs.
Strong attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office tools, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and MS Project
