The Substation Drafter supports the design of substation engineering projects.Primary ResponsibilitiesCreate electrical drawings for facilities, such as lighting systems, power systems, communications, security, and fire detection in compliance with the National Electrical Code (NEC)Develop entry-level drawings by using computer-aided design software under the direct supervision of other Electrical Technicians or EngineersDemonstrate knowledge of procedures for production of design developments and construction documents, and a thorough knowledge of engineering planning, drafting, and detailingPerform other duties as neededRequired QualificationsBachelor's in Electrical Engineering requiredAbility to learn MicroStation softwareAn attitude and commitment to being an active participant of our employee‑owned culture is a mustPreferred Qualifications2+ years of experience in designing electrical lighting, power, and systems for building projectsExperience with an architectural/engineering or engineering consulting firm highly desirable#J-18808-Ljbffr
