Description
Prepare and revise electrical design drawings, layouts, and schematics under supervision.
Utilize AutoCAD, MicroStation, SmartSketch, or other approved drafting software to create and modify drawings.
Coordinate with electrical engineers, designers, and other engineering disciplines to incorporate design changes and resolve drawing issues.
Assist with maintaining project drawing files, document control procedures, and drafting standards.
Review drawings for completeness, accuracy, consistency, and adherence to company quality requirements.
Support field verification efforts by incorporating redline markups into design documents.
Participate in quality assurance and quality control reviews as assigned.
Maintain compliance with project schedules and deliverables.
Follow all company safety, ethics, and professional conduct requirements.
Zachry Engineering Corporation is seeking an entry-level Electrical Drafter I to support the development of electrical design drawings and deliverables for industrial, power generation, energy, chemical, and manufacturing facilities. This role works under the direction of experienced designers and engineers to prepare, revise, and maintain electrical drawings using industry-standard CAD software while ensuring compliance with project requirements, company standards, and applicable codes.
