Volt is immediately hiring Production Workers Electrical Electronic & Electromechanical Assembly in the Chesapeake VA area.As a Production Worker you will Read and follow written and verbal work instructions procedures and engineering specifications. Perform electrical electronic and electromechanical assembly operations. Use a variety of hand and power tools to complete manufacturing and production tasks. Conduct quality inspections throughout the production process. Identify document and report product defects and quality concerns. Rework and repair products according to engineering specifications and change notices. Report issues related to quality equipment materials and processes to supervisors. Maintain a clean organized and safe work environment. Participate in lean manufacturing and continuous improvement initiatives. Support material handling and other production-related activities as needed. Cross-train in multiple departments and assist where business needs require. Follow all safety requirements and maintain a Foreign Object Damage FOD-free work environment. Ensure equipment is calibrated and used according to established procedures.The ideal candidate will have High School Diploma or GED required. Previous manufacturing assembly production or electromechanical assembly experience preferred. Ability to read understand and follow written and verbal instructions. Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality. Basic computer skills including Microsoft Office applications. Effective written and verbal communication skills. Valid drivers license required. Must maintain an active email address.Temp-to-Hire | Full-Time OpportunityPhysical Requirements Ability to perform repetitive tasks throughout the shift. Strong manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination. Ability to sit stand walk bend stoop kneel crouch and reach for extended periods. Ability to work up to 10-hour shifts. Ability to regularly lift and move materials weighing up to 25 pounds.
