Introduction

We are seeking a highly skilled Electrical / Electronics Design Engineer to join our team in Greensboro, NC. This is an onsite role with a duration of 6 months. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electronics and electrical engineering, with a focus on product design and development.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor's (or equivalent) degree in Electronics / Electrical Engineering and/or equivalent relevant work experience
• 5 - 10 years of experience in product design, development, and implementation
• Electrical hardware design experience involving mixed signal designs, power supply designs, processor-based designs, cable designs
• Experience in identifying low-cost alternates to off-the-shelf parts such as monitors, printers, card readers, scanners, etc.
• Prior work experience at client or in client's Industry
• Applicants must be able to work directly for Artech on W2

Preferred Skills & Qualifications

• Experience in design for manufacturability
• FMEA, DOE, and Root Cause Analysis experience
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

• Design and develop electrical/electronic systems and components
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure product designs meet requirements
• Perform testing and validation of design prototypes
