Position Title: Electrical Engineer
Location: Santa Clara, CA
Pay Rate: $60.00/hour
Position Description:
Join a dynamic team as an Electrical Engineer supporting power systems design, analysis, and distribution for commercial and industrial facilities. Utilize your technical expertise to analyze electrical loads, develop detailed layouts, and collaborate across multidisciplinary teams to ensure safe, reliable, and efficient electrical operations. This contract-to-hire opportunity offers hands-on field experience, innovative project involvement, and long-term career growth in the electrical engineering sector.
Top Requirements:
- Bachelor's or Master of Science Degree in Electrical Engineering
- 3+ years of relevant electrical engineering experience
- Experience with SKM PTW or similar power analysis tools
- Proficiency in AutoCAD
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word)
- Engineer in Training (EIT) certification (preferred)
- Experience with Revit or other BIM tools (preferred)
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Fast learner with a growth mindset
Additional Details:
- Local candidates preferred
- Travel may be required
- Field work involves walking, climbing ladders, and active construction environments
- Background check and drug screening required
- Must be authorized to work in the U.S. (no sponsorship)
