    Description

    DPP is seeking an Electrical Engineer for our client in the Aerospace & Defense Manufacturing industry.
     
    Work location: Onsite in San Diego, CA
    Work schedule: 9x80 A
    Duration: 12 months
    Terms: W2 contract
    Work authorization: US Citizen. Must have the ability to obtain and maintain a Secret US security clearance
     
    Position description:
    • As a member of the Electrical Engineering department, you’ll be a part of creating next generation of software-defined radios and cutting-edge communication systems.
    • This position will serve on-site at San Diego, CA at the Rancho Carmel campus. 
    Responsibilities:
    • Researches, develops, designs, and tests electrical components, equipment, systems, and networks.
    • Designs electrical equipment, facilities, components, products, and systems for commercial, industrial, and domestic purposes. 
    Basic qualifications:
    • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related STEM field plus 5 or more years of relevant experience; or a Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or related STEM field plus 3 years of experience.
    • Experience reading and interpreting specifications, schematics and block diagrams
    • Experience designing and debugging electrical circuits and/or products
    • Must have the ability to obtain and maintain a US Secret clearance within a reasonable amount of time as determined by business needs 
    Preferred:
    • Experience in working in an autonomous work environment on complex projects.
    • Experience with RF test equipment such as oscilloscopes, power meters, spectrum analyzers, and signal generators
    • Experience with RF/Digital hardware and software
    • Basic Understanding of VHDL Concepts & Programming
    • Experience with Hardware Requirements Derivation
    • Proficiency with Microsoft software Word, Excel, Power Point and Visio.
    • Experience with AWR Microwave Office, LTSpice, Xpedition, Mentor Graphics, LabVIEW, and DOORS would be a plus. 
    US Citizen: This role requires the ability to obtain a SECRET US security clearance, which requires a thorough background search and US citizenship. Residency requirements may apply.
