Amentum is actively seeking an Electrical Engineer in the Englewood CO office responsible for a variety of engineering tasks in the initial planning through final design for projects of advanced complexity under the minimal supervision of a Supervising Electrical Engineer. The Engineer is responsible for initiating and developing engineering calculations studies and drawings through completion in conformance with the requirements applicable codes and design criteria established by the project.
Minimum Requirements • Must have obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering from a 4 year ABET accredited college or university. • A minimum of 7 years of post-graduation professional electrical engineering experience. • Experience in power system analysis including load flow voltage drop short circuit harmonic arc flash and relay coordination studies. • Experience in SKM ETAP or other Power System Analysis software. • Experience with electrical one-line diagrams schematics and wiring diagrams. • Experience in sizing and specifying electrical equipment. • Advanced level of understanding of power system analysis lighting power & control grounding lightning protection communications and security systems. • Proficient in 2D and 3D AutoCAD Revit and/or MicroStation. • Excellent oral communication and technical writing skills. • Due to the nature of work candidates must be a US Citizen. US Dual Citizenship may be considered. • Position may require the ability to pass and maintain a Security Clearance. • Position may require travel.

COMPENSATION HIRING SALARY RANGE $115,000 - $135,000 Annually Salary to be determined by the education experience knowledge skills and abilities of the applicant internal equity and alignment with market data.
