Overview Electrical Engineer 6(Medium/Low Voltage) – About the job***This position is open to a hybrid work schedule allowing work from home several days per week ***Responsibilities Using provided high-level goals, design electric master system plans, power systems, protection and generation models, facility power systems, and sustainability/renewable energy systems, ranging from basic to highly complex, to meet client project needs.Review draft designs to ensure they comply with federal, state, and local regulations, and sign off on final designs.Conduct power system studies and perform electrical calculations, including for lighting, communications, fire alarms, and security systems.Ensure all designs adhere to the firm\'s policies and practices.Conduct site reviews as needed to ensure designs align with location specifications and update requirements as necessary.Contribute to the firm\'s technical knowledge by creating white papers and technical documentation on new or unique designs and studies.Submit technical papers and designs for publication in professional journals.Work with sales teams to develop proposals in response to client RFPs, reviewing drafts to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.Engage with current and potential clients to discuss their design needs and attend conferences to enhance the firm\'s visibility alongside sales staff.Provide technical guidance and training to junior staff, mentoring them for future growth within the firm. May also supervise junior engineers on project work.Minimum Qualifications Bachelor\'s degree in Electrical or Electronic Engineering, or Electrical Technology or related discipline.Professional engineering (PE) license.10 years of related experience.Domestic and/or international travel may be required.The frequency of travel is contingent on specific duties, responsibilities, and the essential functions of the position, which may vary depending on workload and project demands.Equivalent additional directly related experience will be considered in lieu of a degree.Certification/License Professional EngineerAmount of Travel Required 20%Skills and Abilities Expert Knowledge of computer assisted design and drafting (CADD) 3D and 4D software and practices.Expert Knowledge of engineer principles of design.Expert Knowledge of Microsoft business software (Excel, Word, etc.).Excellent verbal and written communications skills.Expert knowledge of federal, state and local regulations.#J-18808-Ljbffr
