Electrical Engineer

The associate must be able to independently perform assignments requiring the application of standard design engineering techniques for a small project or selected segments of a larger project.Develop and/or review designs and installations to ensure correctness and compliance with standards, applicable codes, regulatory requirements, and project deliverablesResponsible for the E&I design basis on assigned projectsDefines specifications for budgetary quotes / estimates related to equipment and designs as assignedEvaluate deviations to designs and make recommendations for resolutionAssemble detailed construction bid packages for executionAssist in creating cost estimates for scopes of workFamiliar with low voltage power systemsSelf-starter, able to work with little supervisionAbility to support multiple projects simultaneouslyAbility to make sound technical decisionsGood interpersonal skills to interact well within a team environmentStrong organizational and communication skills both oral and writtenMakes and implements sound decisions for both designs and installationsAbility to create Engineering man-hour estimatesRequirementsBachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering from accredited educational institution.5+ Years of experience in the Petrochemical industry.A valid driver's license with a driving record that meets company standards and its insurers.Ability to sit, stand, and walk for extended periods of time.Ability to work with a team, take direction from supervisor, keep required work schedule, focus on attention to details, and follow work rules.Other InformationExcellent wages and complete benefits package.We are an equal opportunity employer, and all qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, national origin, disability status, protected veteran status, or any other characteristic protected by law.ISC evaluates and hires applicants for employment based exclusively upon the applicant's merit.
