A reputable engineering firm is seeking an Electrical Engineer<\/span><\/span><\/span> with a focus on Water/Wastewater projects <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>to join their growing team in Cleveland!  <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>

<\/p>

Responsibilities:<\/span><\/span><\/span>
<\/span><\/p>

  • Plan production for industrial (water/wastewater) and environmental facilities <\/span><\/span><\/span>
    <\/span><\/li>
  • Coordinate design elements with other in -house disciplines (architecture, structures, environmental, site civil, and landscape design)<\/span><\/span><\/span>
    <\/span><\/li>
  • Define equipment, layout, and protection requirements for new and retrofit distribution stations in accordance with all applicable industry codes and standards<\/span><\/span><\/span>
    <\/span><\/li>
  • Communicate with clients to determine requirements then develop appropriate distribution station plans/specifications<\/span><\/span><\/span>
    <\/span><\/li>
  • Collaborate with cross -disciplinary teams on system layout, SCADA controls, automation, and instrumentation<\/span><\/span><\/span>
    <\/span><\/li>
  • Prepare electrical calculations for power distribution (low/medium voltage), lighting, controls, and fire alarm systems<\/span><\/span><\/span>
    <\/span><\/li><\/ul>

    Requirements:<\/span><\/span><\/span>
    <\/span><\/p>

    • A bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering (ABET -accredited preferred) or equivalent work experience<\/span><\/span><\/span>
      <\/span><\/li>
    • 5+ years of experience<\/span><\/span><\/span>
      <\/span><\/li>
    • Water/wastewater treatment experience preferred<\/span><\/span><\/span>
      <\/span><\/li>
    • Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred (or the ability to obtain it within 12 months of hire)<\/span><\/span><\/span>
      <\/span><\/li>
    • Working knowledge of power distribution (low and medium voltage), standby power systems, instrumentation, controls, lighting, and fire alarm systems<\/span><\/span><\/span>
      <\/span><\/li>
    • Familiar with ICC, NEC, NFPA building codes, LEED building standards<\/span><\/span><\/span>
      <\/span><\/li>
    • Proficient with AutoCAD and Revit design software<\/span><\/span><\/span>
      <\/span><\/li>
    • Proficient with MS office suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)<\/span><\/span><\/span>
      <\/span><\/li><\/ul>
