Job Description Job Description Our client RibbbitZ is looking for Electrical Engineer ( Commissioning – LV/MV Systems ) in Houston.Location: Houston, Texas, USA (Onsite)Employment Type: PermanentExperience: 3–5 YearsEligibility: US Citizens OnlyROLE OVERVIEW:We are seeking a skilled Electrical Engineer to support E-House Solutions across industries including Oil & Gas, Petrochemicals, and Utilities. This role involves executing and coordinating end-to-end LV/MV electrical commissioning activities, ensuring systems are safely integrated, compliant, and delivered on schedule.KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:Execute commissioning for LV/MV equipment (switchgear, transformers, MCCs, VFDs, UPS, generators, relays)Perform FAT, SAT, loop checks, and electrical testingConduct primary & secondary injection testing and relay testingTroubleshoot and resolve issues during start-up and system integrationCoordinate with engineering, QA/QC, safety teams, vendors, and clientsReview electrical drawings, SLDs, schematics, and datasheetsPrepare test reports, commissioning records, and handover documentationEnsure timely delivery aligned with project schedules and quality standardsREQUIRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field3–5 years of experience in electrical commissioning & testingStrong knowledge of NEC, NFPA, IEEE, NETA standardsExperience in industrial plants, oil & gas, power systems, or data centersHands-on experience with electrical testing tools (IR testers, relay kits, Hi-Pot, etc.)Ability to read and interpret complex electrical drawingsStrong communication and coordination skillsPREFERRED CERTIFICATIONS (OPTIONAL):NETA Level II / III / IVPMP CertificationPE License (Texas preferred)OSHA 30 / NFPA 70E
