POSITION OVERVIEW
As an
Electrical Engineer your roles and responsibilities will include:
- Lead the safe, on-time, and on-budget development and execution of capital projects.
- Provide electrical engineering and design from concept through hand-off using the established PESHA process.
- Manage contractors to ensure safe and productive execution of work.
- Collaborate with internal/external engineering resources, equipment suppliers, and construction contractors.
- Perform engineering tasks including problem-solving, design calculations, equipment selection, proposal reviews, and drawing management.
- Ensure proper operation and safety of equipment and processes.
QUALIFICATIONS

Electrical Engineer who enjoys his work and is considered to be one of the best within your organization. The ideal
Electrical Engineer would be someone with deep experience in many (if not all) of the following:
- Bachelor s degree in electrical engineering or a related field is required.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in a manufacturing environment as an electrical engineer, with a strong background in capital project lifecycle.
- Proven success in electrical power and controls engineering, including equipment specification, installation, and hand-off to operations.
- Experience installing mill-grade equipment.
- Design or supervisory design experience in electrical systems, primarily 480VAC.
- Hands-on experience with PLC, HMI, and SCADA systems (Rockwell preferred).
