Key Responsibilities
Design power distribution, lighting, fire alarm, and low-voltage systems for new and renovated buildings
Perform load calculations, short circuit analysis, and voltage drop studies
Prepare construction drawings and specifications using AutoCAD and Revit
Collaborate with architects, clients, and multidisciplinary engineering teams
Conduct site visits, review submittals, and provide construction phase support
Mentor junior engineers and support quality control on project deliverables
Qualifications
Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering
5+ years of experience in MEP consulting
Proficient in Revit, AutoCAD, and electrical calculation tools (e.g., SKM, ETAP)
PE license in Texas preferred or in progress
Strong knowledge of NEC, energy codes, and applicable industry standards
Excellent communication skills and the ability to work in a client-facing role
