Job Description

This position is responsible for planning, formulating, designing, and administering various engineered projects and programs related to traditional manufacturing facilities infrastructure and production equipment.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute capital and non-capital projects on electrical equipment, including electric panels, substations, transformers, CNC machines, robotic equipment, heat treat equipment, and casting equipment.
• Collaborate with suppliers and contractors for the procurement of production equipment and infrastructure support.
• Work with contracting companies on pricing new projects and managing existing projects day-to-day.
• Assist with equipment troubleshooting, including electrical, controls, PLCs, and VFDs.
• Support the Facilities Manager, Manufacturing Manager, area leaders, and Planning organizations in planning and coordinating shutdowns, preventative and predictive maintenance, breakdown support, and spare parts management.
• Contribute to problem-solving, root cause analysis, TPM, Kaizen, and EHS activities.

Essential Skills

• Bachelor"s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
• 3 years of related experience in electrical engineering.
• Proficiency in electrical control systems (prints, VFDs, motors, drives, servos, sensors).
• Experience with high voltage systems (460VAC, 120VAC, 24VDC, 5VDC).
• Knowledge of ladder logic software (ProWORX 32, SoMachine).
• Familiarity with robotics (Yaskawa Motoman).

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Proficiency in SolidWorks or similar design software.
• Experience with AutoCAD or similar design software.
• Familiarity with Allen-Bradley, Schneider Electric, and Siemens PLCs and drives.
• Experience using Fluke meters.

Work Environment

The role supports the Facilities Engineering team, which comprises a total of 8 engineers, including 3 Electrical Engineers, 3 Mechanical Engineers, an HVAC Engineer, and an Automation Engineer. This position offers opportunities for growth and internal promotion as the company introduces new product lines and processes.

Job Type & Location

This is a Permanent position based out of Dover, NJ.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $95000.00 - $115000.00/yr.
