We are working with a<\/span><\/span> <\/span><\/span><\/span>successful engineering firm in the Orlando<\/span><\/span><\/b>,<\/span><\/span> <\/span><\/span><\/span>FL<\/span><\/span><\/b> <\/span><\/span><\/span>area to bring an <\/span><\/span>Electrical Engineer, E.I.T.<\/span><\/span><\/i><\/b> shall develop the ability to produce comprehensive facility electrical designs while assisting the project engineer and, at a minimum, have the following capabilities:<\/span>
<\/span><\/span><\/div>
  • Understand advanced electrical theory/calculations, electrical system components and devices.<\/span>
    <\/span><\/span><\/li>
  • Have the ability to comprehend and implement inputs and direction from the project engineer.<\/span>
    <\/span><\/span><\/li>
  • Apply Revit, AutoCAD, photometric, word processing/spreadsheet and other basic software to support project designs.<\/span>
    <\/span><\/span><\/li>
  • Quickly develop knowledge of codes, standards, and best practices and the ability to apply them within the electrical design.<\/span>
    <\/span><\/span><\/li>
  • Be able to develop and draft power, lighting and fire alarm plans, single line/riser diagrams, panel and light fixture schedules.<\/span>
    <\/span><\/span><\/li>
  • Develop the understanding of the components of the mechanical, plumbing and fire protection systems that will require power and be able to coordinate those discipline requirements into the electrical design.<\/span>
    <\/span><\/span><\/li>
  • Attend internal and client coordination meetings with senior staff.<\/span>
    <\/span><\/span><\/li>
  • Apply general engineering principles to develop problem solving abilities and technical expertise.<\/span>
    <\/span><\/span><\/li>
  • Learn the basics of project management and project budgets.<\/span>
    <\/span><\/span><\/li>
  • Expectation of technical and management growth to assume a more responsible role.<\/span>
    <\/span><\/span><\/li>
  • Take personal ownership of the work produced.<\/span>

    Requirements<\/h3>
    • Bachelor’s degree and E.I.T. exam passed (required), military training, field experience, proven relevant technical experience.<\/span>
      <\/span><\/span><\/li>
    • Experience working in a professional A/E office, Consulting Firm, Construction Contractor, or equivalent.<\/span>
      <\/span><\/span><\/li>
    • Ability to travel.<\/span>
      <\/span><\/span><\/li>
    • Proficient in Revit, AutoCAD, photometric, word processing/spreadsheet and other basic software.<\/span>
      <\/span><\/span><\/li>
    • Strong written, verbal and communication skills with the ability to participate in a collaborative team environment.<\/span>
