Job Summary
The Senior Electrical Engineer will oversee electrical systems for factory automation, focusing on integration of industrial machinery, power distribution, Ethernet communications, robotics, and PLC-based controls. The role ensures systems are safe, reliable, and cost-efficient while supporting cross-functional teams through development, assembly, and troubleshooting.
Key Responsibilities
Define requirements for new automation systems or modifications.
Lead electrical integration and schematic capture.
Ensure safety, reliability, and cost-effectiveness.
Produce documentation and support system assembly.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams on debugging.
Stay current with industry standards and regulations.
Provide training and technical support to staff.
Maintain vendor relationships for components and services.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
4+ years in electrical engineering with focus on automation and integration.
Strong background in PLC-based control systems and safety components.
Skilled with schematic capture software, test equipment, and documentation.
Excellent troubleshooting, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Able to manage multiple projects and work independently or in teams.
Preferred Skills
Experience with Ethernet topologies, robotics integration, and power distribution.
Proficiency with power and Ethernet analyzers.
Working Conditions
El Dorado Hills, CA based; occasional travel to installation sites.
Full-time, bonus eligible.
Salary: $100,000–$130,000 depending on experience.
