Summary:
This position is for an Electrical Project Engineer who supports system engineering activities for Client New and Existing Product programs. The role works with cross-functional teams to assist in the development, integration, and validation of elevator systems to ensure customer, functional, code, and safety requirements are met.

Job Responsibilities:
Support requirements management, system integration activities, program schedule tracking, and preparation of systems documentation required for product development programs.
Assist in conducting performance evaluations, feasibility studies, test planning, cost assessments, and code requirement reviews for impacted subsystems.
Support the collection, documentation, and traceability of elevator system requirements from stakeholders and assist in translating them into subsystem requirements.
Collaborate with engineering teams and stakeholders to support system integration activities and ensure compliance with project and regulatory requirements.
Participate in product development and sustaining engineering activities under the guidance of senior engineers.

Experience/Skills:
Ability to support the development and calculation of Performance Envelopes (Duty Tables).
Basic electrical knowledge of high-power transformer applications, including step-up, isolation, and step-down transformers.
Familiarity with local and national code requirements and compliance documentation.
Good communication and teamwork skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
Familiarity with engineering change implementation processes.
Ability to prepare and maintain project documentation to support compliance with internal and external requirements, including test reports, drawings, and specifications.
Knowledge of root cause analysis methods and engineering problem-solving tools such as DFMEA and Six Sigma is preferred.
Experience participating in requirements management activities with engineering teams and stakeholders.
Previous elevator industry experience is preferred.
Minimum Requirements:
BS Degree in EE
2+ years engineering experience
