Electrical Engineer

What you will be doing:
  • Investigate project feasibility, scope, schedule and budget.
  • Create scope of work, bid package and project specifications.
  • Review technical drawings, provide feedback, negotiate changes.
  • Evaluate electrical power systems.
  • Evaluate electrical and safety compliance to local and national codes.
  • Collaborate with 3rd party Safety Compliance Contractors.
  • Evaluate Power distribution/breaker size/Amp draw/SCCR/Panel Loading.
  • Specify/Confirm electrical components for industrial equipment.
  • Collaborate with multiple groups to design and install equipment and meet project milestones.
  • Supervise contractors in a green-field or brown-field work environment.
  • Coordinate installation with skilled trades, affiliate companies, engineers and equipment manufacturers.
  • Develop countermeasures for project delays for timely project completion.
What you'll need to be successful:
Essential:
  • BS In Engineering, Technical Trader Certification or equivalent experience.
  • 3+ years manufacturing environment.
  • 3+ years project management.
  • Microsoft Office Software proficient.
  • Bid Spec development, Contractor negotiation.
  • 2+ years Technical Drawing experience.
  • 2+ years Industrial Power Distribution/System Design.
Preferred:
  • BSEE.
  • Project management experience.
  • Automotive paint process experience.
  • AutoCAD proficient.
  • Ability to understand and calculate utility cost.
  • Understanding of PLC operation & programming (Toyopuc, Omron, Allen-Bradley).
  • Understanding of PLC communication (FLNet, EtherNet).
  • Understanding of OT/IT networking.
  • NFPA 70E/77.
  • OSHA 10/30.
