TITLE: ELECTRICAL ENGINEER II Location: Hagerstown, MD Pay Rate: $42 per hour Duration: 4+ months Summary:
Our aerospace client is seeking an Electrical Engineer II to support the research, design, development, testing, and integration of advanced electrical and electronic systems. This role will contribute to cutting-edge aerospace and defense products throughout the product lifecycle, from circuit card assemblies to fully integrated systems. Description Electrical Engineer II:
Research, design, develop, test, certify, deploy, and improve advanced electrical and electronic products and systems.
Conceptualize and design products and processes throughout the product lifecycle.
Support analog and digital electronic circuit card assemblies and fully integrated systems.
Collaborate with multi-disciplinary engineering teams on product design and development.
Utilize Computer Aided Engineering (CAE) tools to support electrical engineering activities.
Support electrical circuit modeling, simulation, analysis, and schematic capture.
Contribute to electrical component selection, manufacturing, and production processes.
Support printed circuit board (PCB) design and layout activities.
Qualifications Electrical Engineer II:
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline.
2+ years of relevant electrical engineering experience.
Knowledge of electrical engineering principles and practices.
Experience with Computer Aided Engineering tools.
Experience working within multi-disciplinary design and development teams.
Exposure to functional and logical modeling, simulations, and system analysis preferred.
Aerospace and defense industry experience preferred.
Experience developing or analyzing Electrical Load Analysis (ELA) preferred.
Experience with circuit modeling, simulation, and analysis preferred.
Familiarity with High Intensity Radiated Field (HIRF) and Indirect Effects of Lightning (IEL) design requirements preferred.
Understanding of electromagnetic effects, including Electro Magnetic Compatibility (EMC) and Electro Magnetic Interference (EMI), preferred.
Experience with digital or analog circuit design and schematic capture preferred.
Understanding of printed circuit board layout processes and tools preferred.
Ability to frequently walk, sit, stand, climb stairs, and perform repetitive hand and finger motions.
Ability to occasionally lift or carry up to 20 lbs.
