Job Title: Electrical Engineer - Hardware
Job Description
We are seeking an experienced RF Test Engineer to join our Infotainment Engineering team. This role involves developing and executing test plans for RF-related infotainment systems and components, ensuring designs meet performance, quality, and regulatory requirements. The ideal candidate will possess a strong electrical engineering background, hands-on testing experience, and the ability to analyze data and drive design improvements.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute test plans, procedures, and specifications for RF and infotainment-related components and systems.
- Evaluate design feasibility and validate performance against design requirements, acceptance criteria, and regulatory standards.
- Create test schedules, configure test parameters, and prepare test equipment and environments.
- Conduct laboratory and vehicle-level testing, ensuring accuracy, repeatability, and thorough documentation of results.
- Analyze and interpret test data to identify trends, predict performance, and determine root causes of failures.
- Identify issues and develop countermeasures to improve product performance and reliability.
- Prepare comprehensive technical reports and present findings to cross-functional engineering teams.
- Recommend design changes and validation strategies based on testing results and engineering analysis.
- Collaborate with design, systems, software, and supplier teams to support product development and issue resolution.
- Ensure compliance with internal engineering standards, industry requirements, and applicable regulatory guidelines.
Essential Skills
- Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering (BSEE) required.
- 3-6 years of test engineering experience, preferably in RF, wireless communications, automotive infotainment, or related electronic systems.
- Experience developing and executing validation, verification, and confirmation testing.
- Strong understanding of RF testing methodologies, data analysis, and troubleshooting techniques.
- Experience with test equipment, data acquisition systems, and engineering analysis tools.
- Excellent technical writing, presentation, and communication skills.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- RF validation and troubleshooting experience.
- Knowledge of wireless technologies such as Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, Cellular, GPS, NFC, or related communication systems.
- Experience with automotive infotainment or connected vehicle systems.
- Proficiency in using RF test equipment including spectrum analyzers, network analyzers, signal generators, and oscilloscopes.
- Familiarity with data analysis and reporting tools.
- Co-Op experience within the Product testing space.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $38.00 - $40.00/hr.
