Electrical Engineer - Protection and Controls - Houston, Texas - JOB 25-01748

Salary Range: $90K - $110K Permanent Position with Benefits

Houston, Texas manufacturer is seeking to hire an experienced Electrical Engineer with experience in the design of Protection & Control Relay Panels for Utility & Industrial applications.

REQUIREMENTS
  • BSEE Bachelor's Degree Electrical Engineering
  • 3+ years' experience in the design of protection & control relay panels for utility and industrial applications with solid knowledge of electrical engineering principles, circuits / systems, industry standards and regulations including NEC, UL, IEC, and IEEE
  • Proficient with AutoCAD and electrical design tool to generate wiring diagrams from customer-supplied schematics
  • Strong knowledge of ANSI/IEEE C37 standards for power systems protection and control, substation controls, power transmission and power distribution
  • Familiarity with simulation and analysis software such as SKM or ETAP for electrical systems preferred
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
