Responsibilities:

  • Perform a wide spectrum of moderately difficult assignments, requiring technical evaluation, innovation, and judgment while maintaining customer satisfaction
  • Work independently on mid-sized projects/technical assignments supporting operations
  • Maintain a strong understanding of industry and operational requirements
  • Demonstrate in-depth knowledge of safety requirements, produce results, and meet goals
  • Exhibit proficiency in company processes, policies, procedures, and guidelines established by the organization and governing agencies
  • Prepare and deliver presentations to individuals
  • Interpret internal/external customer needs, assess requirements and identify responses
  • Collaborate with teams to ensure compliance, build improvement plans, and meet training needs
  • Champion processes, procedures, and safety standards
  • Coordinate third-party contractors
  • Develop and complete equipment condition-based maintenance programs
  • Repair and improve operational reliability of electrical infrastructure and voltage systems
  • Support electrical equipment outage and maintenance
  • Maintain electrical drawings
  • Perform electrical reviews of management of change plans and work plans
  • Coordinate and review arc flash studies and implement improvements

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in relevant Engineering field from an accredited college or university, OR Bachelor's Degree in Engineering Technology in a relevant field with Professional Engineer (P.E.) license
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in Electrical Engineering
  • Experience in National Electrical Code
  • Proficiency in power distribution systems
  • Experience in electrical troubleshooting
  • Experience with arc flash studies and interpreting the result
  • Familiarity with Management of Change (MOC)
  • Proficiency in reading electrical drawings (single-line diagrams, schematics)
  • Knowledge of National Electrical Code (NEC)

Preferred Skills:

  • 4+ years of experience in Electrical Engineering
