BOOST LLC is a dynamic management consulting firm that offers an array of government-compliant back-office solutions to support our teaming partners within the GovCon space. Our consultants are experts in Accounting, Contracts, Human Resources, Recruiting & Sourcing, and Strategic Pricing, and our passion is guiding our partners toward success within this competitive sector. We are working with our client, Don Selvy Enterprises (DSE) to find their next Electrical Engineer I.
DSE, Inc. is a team of experienced professionals dedicated to engineering, training, and program management that enables front-line soldiers, sailors, and Marines to fully exploit the tactical capabilities of aviation and maritime platforms. We accomplish this by using the most qualified employees and keeping abreast of every new capability in aviation, maritime technologies, and simulation/training technology as it emerges. To this day, DSE continues to foster a work environment that supports ingenuity and the care for each member of the team.
The Electrical Engineer I provides entry-level technical and engineering support services for the Air Combat Electronics program office at NAVAIR (PMA-209). This position is open to recent graduates and early-career engineers. No prior professional experience is required.
You will work alongside senior engineers supporting military communications systems, with a focus on software defined radios including Embedded COMSEC, anti-jam, and SATCOM waveforms. Early work includes:
Supporting the review of Engineering Change Proposals and CDRL documents
Contributing sections to technical white papers and platform integration plans
Assisting with testing of ARC-210 radio capabilities delivered through Collins radio and RCU software releases
This is a role built for someone who wants to learn defense communications systems from the inside. You are not expected to arrive knowing waveform theory or the NAVAIR acquisition process. You are expected to arrive with a solid engineering foundation, real curiosity, and the willingness to ask questions until you understand the answer.
DSE doesn't just ask for your experience, it rewards it. DSE's PTO program is experience-based rather than tenure-based. Relevant internship, co-op, and military experience is evaluated at hire and can qualify you for a higher PTO allocation from day one. It's a rare structure in this industry, where most companies only reward the tenure, you earn after you join.
That same philosophy carries through the rest of the benefits package:
Starting salary range: $75,000.00 - $85.000.00 annually
Medical and dental: 100% company-paid premiums for employees, 50% for dependents
401(k): up to a 4% company match
Insurance: fully paid life, short-term, and long-term disability, no cost to you
Employer-funded FSA plus HRA contributions toward your deductible
Experience-based PTO: internship and co-op experience considered, plus the option to purchase additional PTO
11 paid holidays (6 national, 5 floating)
Tuition reimbursement to support continued professional growth, including graduate coursework
Structured onboarding with a senior engineer mentor and a defined path to Electrical Engineer II
