    Field and Site Work

    • Provide field engineering support, including construction observation and equipment installation checks.
    • Verify conduit routing, electrical room layouts, and installed conditions against design intent.

    Security, Codes, and Compliance

    • Gain experience applying NEC requirements, UFC criteria, DoD standards, and secure-facility electrical design guidelines.
    • Support design and construction activities to ensure alignment with applicable codes, policies, and security requirements.

    Project and Coordination Support

    • Participate in internal and external coordination meetings.
    • Assist in reviewing contractor submittals, RFIs, red-line drawings, and related documentation.
    • Support multidisciplinary coordination with architectural, mechanical, civil, and structural teams.

    Work Conditions & Physical Requirements

    • Ability to work in high-security environments requiring strict access controls and security protocols

    • Basic proficiency or exposure to AutoCAD, Revit, or BIM tools for electrical design and coordination
    • Familiarity with electrical load calculations, conduit and cable tray layout, short-circuit analysis, and panel design
    • Foundational understanding of NEC requirements, equipment grounding and bonding, and lighting/controls design principles
    • Ability to interpret engineering drawings and specifications
    • Exposure to UFC, DoD, or secure electrical design standards (preferred)
