Title: Electrical Engineer II
Location: Lexington, KY
Duration: 6 months with possible extension/conversion

Pay Rate: $45- $50 per hour on W2
Schedule: Onsite Monday- Friday 

Will need an engineering degree - looking for someone 2-5 years' experience in the industry 

Job Description: 
Join our dynamic manufacturing team as an Electrical Controls Specialist! Be part of an innovative environment where you'll drive continuous improvement initiatives to achieve operational excellence.

What will you do:
  • Controls/Technical support for various shift production including fabrication, metal finishing, and assembly, through troubleshooting and determining root causes for downtime events.
  • Production barrier identification and elimination for various levels of automation including stamping presses, welders, conveyors, automated assembly, and robotics.
  • Update, modify, and continuously improve existing controls systems including robotics, ladder logic programs, relay logic, electrical distribution, motor controls, operator interface, pneumatic/hydraulic distribution
  • Coordinate with production and maintenance on existing machine control modifications or installations
  • Create, maintain and keep current all documentation: electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic schematics; panel layouts; PLC, operator display, operator interface, and robot programs.
  • Implement and maintain data collection system for shop floor production equipment
What will make you successful:
  • Minimum 2 Year College Degree in Electrical Engineering, Engineering Technology or related field
  • 2-5 years of experience in the Electrical field
  • Open to working 2nd shift and weekends
  • Experience with Electrical, Pneumatic, and Hydraulic Systems
  • Strong PLC programming skills
  • Electrical/Mechanical CAD Experience
  • Motion Control Experience
  • Robot programming Experience
  • Machine Vision Experience
  • Ability to prepare, read and interpret written reports, instructions, procedures and guidelines
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics

Must-Have 
  • Engineering Degree – Minimum 2-year degree in Electrical Engineering, Engineering Technology, or related field.
  • 2–5 years of Electrical/Controls Engineering experience.
  • Strong PLC programming skills, including ladder logic.
  • Experience with electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.
  • Ability to troubleshoot controls/automation systems and perform root-cause analysis.
  • Ability to read and interpret electrical blueprints and schematics.
