    Electrical Engineer IIHyundai's North America Quality Center (NAQC) is looking for an Engineer II for the Electrical Team.The TeamNAQC is the quality arm for Hyundai Motor Group (HMG)'s North American vehicle models. NAQC seeks to further Hyundai's goal of becoming the leading automotive manufacturer in North America by delivering uncompromising quality and exceeding consumer expectations.The PositionThe Electrical Engineer II would focus on the continuous development and enhancement of electrical systems for Hyundai, Genesis, and Kia vehicles by performing field and on-site investigations and root cause analysis regarding electrical-related issues.What You Will DoUtilize warranty claim analysis to conduct quality investigations on Genesis, Hyundai, and Kia vehiclesExecute field and on-site investigations to identify, analyze, replicate, and resolve quality-related issues for electrical systemsInstrument various DAQ systems to prototype and customer vehicles to capture vehicle ECU (Electronic Control Unit) dataPublish technical reports on electrical system evaluations and investigations to provide HMG R&D and Quality teams with recommendations for improvementPerform part-failure analysis on electrical components to diagnose electrical-related issues and share findings with the corresponding vendor(s) and other quality divisions via investigation reportsProvide technical support and participate in various product evaluation programs with NA sales affiliates and assembly plantsConduct ECU Over-The-Air (OTA) update validations to confirm market deployment readinessSupport dealers and vendors with electrical-related issues by performing root cause analysis and providing solutions/countermeasuresPerform supplier audits to ensure NA meets HMG's quality standardsIdentify market trends via customer feedback, external indices (e.g., J.D.
