Electrical Engineer II

Kforce has a client that is seeking an Electrical Engineer II in Tampa, FL.

Responsibilities:

• Determine the scope of assigned projects and utilize software programs to create the electrical system designs including lighting, power distribution, emergency generation systems, fire alarm, security, or other systems
• Determine cost-effective system layouts, quantities/sizes, and specifications, and verify code compliance of the system designs
• Preparation and layout of BIM drawings and coordination with all other disciplines at all phases of project production, including schematic design phase, design development phase, permitting phase, and construction documents phase
• Define appropriate project scope and ensure it is accurately reflected in the contract documents; Proactively manage any possible scope of work variances to ensure client satisfaction and that projects stay on track
• Maintain excellent business relationships and communication with clients, partners, architects, owners, other design and construction professionals, and various code officials regarding the overall engineering project, associated assignments, and action items
• Meets deadlines, works independently or as part of a team, accountable, maintains focus on set objectives and goals
• Uses resources efficiently, strives to reduce cost
• Monitors status of projects, thoroughly deals with project details, delivers clear, accurate depiction of status
