Job Summary
Our client is seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer with expertise in embedded hardware design and wireless connectivity, specifically Thread and Matter, to join their Electronics Subsystems Group. This engineer will support the design, development, validation, and production of embedded electronic systems used in next-generation connected products.
This role is part of a major Thread and Matter connectivity initiative, making hands-on experience with these technologies the top priority. The ideal candidate will be able to contribute immediately, work independently, and serve as a technical resource for embedded hardware and connectivity solutions.
Key Responsibilities
Design, develop, and validate embedded electronic hardware and circuit board designs.
Define hardware architecture and collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams to deliver high-quality products.
Design and interface microcontroller-based systems using communication protocols such as SPI, I2C, UART/Serial, USB, and CAN.
Perform hardware verification, board bring-up, component validation, and system-level testing.
Apply Design for Manufacturing (DFM), Design for Test (DFT), and other DFx best practices.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or equivalent hands-on experience.
Approximately 10+ years of relevant experience preferred;candidates with 6+ years and strong Thread/Matter expertise will also be considered.
Strong embedded electronics and PCB design experience.
Hands-on experience with Thread and Matter wireless connectivity (required).
Experience with Bluetooth (BLE) and Wi-Fi connectivity.
