    Description

    OverviewAs an Electrical Engineer, youll lead the design and optimization of electrical systems that power essential infrastructure pipelines, compressor stations, and storage facilities. Youll apply your technical expertise to integrate advanced technologies like automation, real-time monitoring, and energy storage, driving efficiency and innovation across operations. A key part of your role is ensuring safety through the implementation of arc flash mitigation, fault detection systems, and rigorous compliance with regulatory and environmental standards. Youll also manage complex projects from concept to completion, aligning engineering solutions with business goals and timelines. This is a high-impact role where your leadership and problem-solving skills will directly contribute to operational reliability, safety, and strategic growth.Your work will challenge you, and with our Core Values to guide you, youll quickly learn and grow with us.ResponsibilitiesLeads the design, implementation, and optimization of electrical systems and power distribution networks supporting critical infrastructure such as pipelines, compressor stations, and storage facilitiesChampions the integration of advanced technologies including automation, real-time monitoring, and energy storage to enhance system performance and reduce operational costsImplements robust safety measures such as arc flash mitigation and fault detection systems to protect personnel and ensure infrastructure reliabilityProvides technical expertise in power distribution, electrical schematics, and system layouts for both new construction and upgrades to existing facilitiesManages complex engineering projects from concept to completion ensuring alignment with business goals timelines and budget constraintsEnsures compliance with all relevant safety, environmental and regulatory standards across electrical systems and project executionCollaborates with cross-functional teams to deliver engineering solutions that meet internal and external customer needsMentors and supports the development of junior engineers fostering technical growth knowledge sharing and a culture of continuous improvementEducation/Years of ExperienceRequired: Bachelors degree in electrical engineering and eight (4) years engineering experience in natural gas, data centers or related industryPreferred: PE LicenseJob RequirementsDemonstrates excellent organizational/interpersonal skills and safety as a main priorityProficiency in Microsoft Office Application and PC skillsProficiency in reviewing arc flash studies and implementing improvementsWorking knowledge of electrical design codes (NEC, NEMA, API, IEEE, etc.)Preferred: Experience with PLCsPreferred: Experience working in Preliminary-Front End Engineering and Design (Pre-FEED), Front End Engineering Design (FEED), or Engineering, Procurement, Construction (EPC) of small to medium facility projectsPreferred: Proficiency in designing, and implementing, Instrumentation systems, including Programmable Logic Controllers (PLC) and Human Machine Interface (HMI) systemsRequired Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities(Companies ATS Questions):Do you have a Bachelors degree in electrical engineeringDo you have 4+ years of engineering experience in natural gas, data centers, or related industryDo you have Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and general PC skillsDo you have Strong organizational and interpersonal skills with safety as a top priorityDo you have Ability to review arc flash studies and implement improvementsDo you have Working knowledge of electrical design codes (NEC, NEMA, API, IEEE, etc.)Do you have Masters degree in electrical engineeringDo you have Professional Engineer (PE) LicenseDo you have Project management experienceDo you have Experience with PLCs and HMI systemsDo you have Proficiency in designing and implementing instrumentation systems (PLC, HMI)Do you have Experience in Pre-FEED, FEED, or EPC phases of small to medium facility projectsMust be a US Citizen or Green Card holder.#J-18808-Ljbffr
