Electrical Engineer IIITextron Systems is seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer to support the design, integration, testing, and deployment of advanced test and training simulators. This role requires an active TS/SCI clearance, full‑time onsite work, 10% travel, and First Shift schedule.Job SummarySupport the full product lifecycle of advanced test and training simulators, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to deliver mission‑critical solutions to customers.ResponsibilitiesDesign and document electronic assemblies and system components, including schematics, wiring lists, and wiring diagrams.Develop custom cable designs and produce detailed cable drawings using approved engineering tools.Create facility layout drawings outlining equipment placement, electrical power needs, and HVAC requirements.Maintain internal material databases and Government Furnished Equipment (GFE) records for asset tracking and configuration control.Build, inspect, and test prototype and production electronic assemblies, cables, and wiring harnesses.Conduct failure analyses and recommend design improvements to enhance reliability and performance.Support mechanical assembly efforts and incorporate mechanical constraints into electrical designs.Troubleshoot electrical system issues and resolve integration challenges.Collaborate with mechanical, software, manufacturing, and project management teams throughout the development lifecycle.Prepare technical reports, cost estimates, proposals, and CAM contributions.Coordinate with suppliers, contractors, and customers to meet technical and program objectives.Present engineering data, test results, and system performance findings to internal and external stakeholders.Travel to customer or test sites to oversee system installation, integration, and testing activities.Provide remote technical troubleshooting support as needed.QualificationsActive Top Secret clearance, preferred TS/SCI security clearance.Ability to obtain TS/SCI clearance.Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related discipline with minimum 5 years relevant experience.Proficiency with electrical design tools, schematic capture systems, and cable design software.Hands‑on experience building, testing, and validating electronic assemblies.Strong troubleshooting, communication, and cross‑functional collaboration skills.Ability to travel to customer locations as required.BenefitsFlexible Work SchedulesEducation AssistanceCareer Development & Training OpportunitiesWellness Program (including Fitness Reimbursement)Medical, Dental, Vision & 401(K) with Company FundingPaid Parental LeaveCompensation: $110,500 – $167,000 per year (subject to candidate experience and qualifications, market and business considerations).Are you a Military Veteran?Textron is dedicated to hiring Veterans and aims to translate their skills into impact on our Company.EEO StatementTextron is committed to providing Equal Opportunity in Employment to all applicants and employees regardless of race, color, religion, age, national origin, military status, veteran status, disability, sex (including pregnancy and sexual orientation), genetic information or any other characteristic protected by law.#J-18808-Ljbffr
