Job Details Job Location: San Antonio Office - San Antonio, TX 78232. Position Type: Full-Time. Education Level: 4-Year Degree.We are seeking an Electrical Engineer‑in‑Training (EIT) to join our San Antonio team. This position will allow you to leverage your design experience and implement electrical systems that optimize energy efficiency, sustainability, and functionality across multiple client projects. This role offers a unique opportunity to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, engage in innovative problem‑solving, and contribute to the advancement of the built environment. This role is located in San Antonio, Texas and has a flexible hybrid work schedule.Responsibilities Utilize AutoCAD and Revit to create detailed drawings, layouts, and schematics for various electrical systems, including power distribution, lighting, and low‑voltage systemsAssist in the design and analysis of electrical systems for a variety of projects under the guidance of senior engineers, including panel boards, switchgear, and transformersPerform lighting calculations and simulations to optimize lighting levels, uniformity, and energy efficiency, utilizing advanced lighting design software and techniquesEnsure compliance with local, state, and national electrical codes, standards, and regulations throughout the design process, obtaining necessary approvals and permits as requiredCollaborate with mechanical, architectural, and structural teams to ensure electrical systems are seamlessly integrated with all other aspects of building designsCoordinate with project managers and other team members to support project planning, scheduling, and budgeting activities, ensuring timely and successful project deliveryPursue opportunities for professional development and continuing education to enhance technical knowledge, skills, and expertise in electrical design and related disciplinesRequired Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, or related field from an ABET accredited universityEngineer‑in‑Training CertificationPrevious experience designing low‑voltage systems in the MEP consulting field, preferably on large commercial and retail projectsProficiency in AutoCAD and Revit with a demonstrable track record of producing high‑quality electrical drawings and modelsKnowledge of electrical systems, practices, and standards, including but not limited to NEC, NFPA, IESNA, IECC, and IEEE regulationsProven ability to effectively communicate and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, clients, other regulatory authorities to achieve project objectives and deliver successful outcomesExcellent attention to detail and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlinesBenefits Annual merit increases based on work performanceAnnual profit‑sharing bonus, contingent on company performanceLow‑cost medical, dental, and vision insurance plans.
