Electrical Engineer (Levels 3-5)
Location : Cache County, UT (hybrid, 3x/wk onsite)
Target Start Date : ASAP
Type: Long-term Contract (2-3+ years)
Pay Rate: $55.00-$85.00/hr (DOE)

Summary
Our client, a leader and growing presence in the robotics and autonomous vehicles space, is seeking an Electrical Engineer for their R&D team to work on long-term contracts (open to Levels 3, 4 or 5). The Electrical Engineer responsible for independently designing, developing, and testing electrical systems and components for robotic and ground-based vehicles and equipment. This role contributes to moderately complex projects, supports research and new product development, and collaborates closely with technical leads and project managers to deliver high-quality electrical solutions aligned with customer and functional requirements.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and develop analog and digital electrical circuits, components, and systems for robotic and vehicle platforms.
  • Lead testing, validation, and fabrication support for electrical control and test equipment.
  • Apply control systems, instrumentation, and electrical design methodologies to new and existing products.
  • Ensure electrical designs meet manufacturing, installation, and operational specifications.
  • Support fielded systems through coordination of operation, maintenance, and repair activities.
  • Utilize EDA and CAD tools to perform electrical design, analysis, and documentation.
  • Apply DFMEA principles to identify and mitigate design risks throughout development.
  • Stay current with emerging technologies and incorporate improvements into design and testing efforts.
  • Exposure to AI technology is a big plus.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline.
  • 5-10+ years of relevant electrical engineering experience or equivalent combination of education and training.
  • Proficiency with EDA tools and analog/digital circuit design.
  • Working knowledge and application of DFMEA processes.
