JOB DESCRIPTION:
This role focuses on the research, design, and development of electrical equipment and systems. Responsibilities include conducting experiments and analyzing results across areas such as radar and radiation detection equipment, communication systems (radio, television, and related technologies), circuitry components, analog and digital computing systems, and control/test equipment.

The position plays a key role in achieving project and program objectives, often taking ownership of entire projects or processes that span multiple technical areas. It involves managing large-scale initiatives with a moderate impact on overall functional outcomes.

The work requires addressing complex technical challenges that affect multiple disciplines. It demands a high level of ingenuity and creativity to develop innovative solutions, systems, and approaches that meet functional and operational goals.

This role involves regular collaboration with internal teams across various functions, as well as interaction with client teams. It may also include communication with external stakeholders such as vendors and subcontractors. The individual is expected to influence project or team leaders on solution design, processes, and strategic approaches.

A strong foundation in advanced technical principles, theories, and concepts is essential, along with the ability to apply this expertise effectively in practical scenarios.

Typically, this role requires a Bachelor’s degree with 8–12 years of relevant experience, or a Master’s degree with 6–10 years of experience. A Doctorate in a related technical field may also be considered.

10+ years designing/developing hardware solutions; FPGA/VHDL
Schematic capture, PCB layout, high-speed digital design
Technical communication skills
Strong analytical/problem-solving; self-starter
