Job Title: Senior Hardware Design Engineer – Neuromodulation R&D (Job ID: 19117-1)

Location: Valencia, CA (Hybrid/Onsite)
Duration: 12 Months
Pay: $65.35–$83.44/hr on W2


Role Summary

Senior Electrical/Hardware Engineer supporting Neuromodulation medical device R&D, focused on analog/digital circuit design, PCB development, testing, troubleshooting, and product development from concept to commercialization.


Must-Have Skills

  • Analog & digital circuit design and analysis
  • PCB design/review and schematic development
  • Hands-on troubleshooting using oscilloscopes, DMMs, signal generators, etc.
  • Experience with medical device or regulated product development
  • Strong documentation and design review experience

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and analyze analog/digital medical device circuitry
  • Create schematics, BOMs, assembly drawings, and engineering documentation
  • Perform hardware testing, debugging, and component-level analysis
  • Support risk management and quality system compliance
  • Collaborate with R&D, Quality, Regulatory, and Manufacturing teams
  • Support PCB layout reviews and test protocol/report development
  • Mentor technicians and assemblers

Preferred Skills

  • Altium Designer
  • Embedded systems / firmware exposure
  • RF design experience
  • ISO 14708, EN 60601, FDA QSR knowledge
  • Class II/III medical device experience

Experience Required

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field
  • 5+ years of electrical/hardware product development experience

Work Setup

  • Hybrid role – minimum 3 days onsite in Valencia, CA
