Support all Manufacturing Engineering functions for North America powertrain battery tray/frame, casting, components, engine, and transmission programs. The primary role of this function is to participate within an Engineering team to develop and launch processes that meet all objectives for safety, quality, delivery, and cost for both new model (NM), non-new model (NNM), and adaptation
programs.
Main responsibilities include:
Perform assessments for process changes and related investment requirements for cost studies
Understand engineering scope definition, Requests for Quotes (RFQ's), sourcing, technical
evaluations, design, manufacturing, and installation of air/mist/coolant collectors and filtration
that approved programs are completed on time and within budget

all activities including deployment of advanced SPW tools and guide systematic root cause
problem solving methods to attack risks
infrastructure
Indiana (IN) and Saltillo, Mexico (MX); Transmission Plants in Kokomo and Tipton, Indiana (IN);
Casting Plants in Kokomo, Indiana (IN) and Etobicoke, Ontario (ON), Toledo, Ohio (OH), in
conjunction with Global Center of Competency initiatives
Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor of Science in a related technical discipline or High School Diploma/GED and 3 years of experience Engineering or Manufacturing Engineering
Ability to work and interact with all levels of the organization
Strong oral, written, presentation and organizational skills
Ability to translate technical data and analysis into an executive summary format for presentation in easily understandable formats
Knowledge of advanced problem-solving skills and ability to manage data analysis to identify root causes and attack them to closure
Knowledge of cost studies and strategic planning
Intermediate-level knowledge of Microsoft Office, advanced knowledge a plus
Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology, or technical equivalent
Master's degree in Engineering or equivalent
10 years of manufacturing experience, powertrain manufacturing experience a plus
5 years' experience in program management or multi-tasking environment
Ability to work with cross-functional teams responsible for developing, specifying, building, and launching powertrain manufacturing products
