TRC Talent Solutions is hiring an Electrical Engineer to join a high-performing, collaborative team delivering complex, mission-critical projects. This is a client-facing role that requires the ability to inspire confidence from initial client engagement through design, execution, and project completion. The Electrical Engineer will lead electrical system design efforts while working in a fast-paced, multidisciplinary environment focused on delivering innovative, high-quality solutions.
 
What You’ll Do
  • Lead electrical systems design including power, lighting, fire alarm, and low-voltage systems
  • Develop conceptual design studies and translate them into detailed engineering deliverables
  • Prepare electrical calculations, drawings, specifications, and one-line diagrams
  • Perform engineering studies including coordination studies, arc flash analysis, and thermal feeder analysis
  • Ensure all design deliverables comply with applicable codes, standards, and regulations
  • Conduct site visits and perform field data collection as needed
  • Support project execution from design through construction and commissioning
  • Assist with proposals, bids, and technical documentation to support business development efforts
  • Provide technical oversight and quality control of electrical design work
  • Coordinate with vendors, subcontractors, and multidisciplinary teams
  • Act as a technical leader and contribute to project success through collaboration and problem-solving

What We’re Looking For
  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering
  • 5–10 years of electrical design experience
  • Registered Professional Engineer (PE) required or in progress
  • Background in construction or design-build environments preferred
  • Experience with mission-critical, data center, telecom, DC power, food & beverage, or pharmaceutical facilities strongly preferred
  • Strong understanding of interdisciplinary coordination and complex project environments
  • Proficiency with AutoCAD, Revit, and other electrical design software Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, specifications, and technical documents
  • Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver high-quality results
  • S Office as well as proficiency in 
  • Building and Electrical Codes and Standards.
