Tile: Electrical Engineer
Location: Canton MA
Rate: $52/Hr - $62/Hr W2Role Overview We are seeking a hands-on, self-driven Electrical Engineer to join our small, dynamic design team. In this role, you will take ownership of hardware projects from initial concept through to final production. The ideal candidate has a strong background in power electronics, microprocessor integration, and PWM amplifier design.
Key Responsibilities Take full ownership of design projects, driving them from start to finish with minimal supervision.
Design and develop robust PWM amplifiers and high-efficiency power supplies.
Write and implement programming for microprocessors and FPGAs.
Perform circuit simulations using LTSpice or similar simulation software.
Build, test, and troubleshoot prototypes in a hands-on laboratory environment.
Work collaboratively and communicate clearly within a small engineering team.
Qualifications & ExperienceEducation: BSEE required; MSEE preferred.
Experience: 3 10+ years in a dedicated hardware/electrical design role.
Technical Skills: Strong foundation in power electronics.
Proven track record designing PWM amplifiers and power supplies.
Embedded programming experience (Microprocessors and FPGAs).
Proficiency with simulation tools like LTSpice.
Lab Skills: Highly familiar with standard lab equipment, including oscilloscopes, function generators, multimeters, and power analyzers.
Personal Attributes: Hands-on, highly motivated, and capable of working independently.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Thrives in a small, close-knit team environment.
