EHC is seeking an Electrical Engineer for a Client in the Magnolia Area

Location: Magnolia, TX (Hybrid)

Position Overview

An established architecture, engineering, and construction organization is seeking a motivated, self-driven Electrical Engineer to join its growing team. Key Responsibilities

• Produce construction documents and electrical design deliverables for infrastructure and building projects.
• Manage design projects, ensuring quality control and adherence to project schedules.
• Participate in construction administration activities and provide support during project execution.
• Monitor multiple projects simultaneously and provide technical and operational guidance.
• Ensure design intent is accurately translated into construction documentation.
• Conduct code reviews and maintain quality assurance standards.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop effective engineering solutions.
• Provide leadership and technical oversight throughout project lifecycles.
• Travel to project sites across multiple states as needed.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering.
• Minimum of 8 years of professional experience in infrastructure and building electrical design.
• Active Texas Professional Engineer (P.E.) license.
• Proficiency with BIM and drafting software, including AutoCAD and Autodesk Revit.
• Strong knowledge of electrical engineering principles, including:
  • Lighting design
  • Medium-voltage distribution systems
  • Power generation
  • Electrical protection systems
• Experience providing construction support services.
• Ability to prepare and review electrical plans, specifications, and technical reports.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong interpersonal and leadership abilities.
• Working knowledge of applicable U.S. building and electrical codes, including NEC, IEEE, NESC, IESNA, and IECC standards.
• Experience serving as a lead Electrical Engineer on project teams.
• Practical field experience and/or construction support experience.
• Project management experience.
• Willingness to travel for occasional site visits.
• Experience estimating electrical system design efforts.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with alternative project delivery methods, including Design-Build, CMAR/CM-GC, and EPC projects.
• Experience developing project-level scopes and effort estimates for building electrical design.
• Experience estimating electrical construction costs and installation requirements.
